This 15000 m² exhibition and trade fair is the basic event of Hungarian horticultural companies and growers. Products of ornamental plant growers, vegetable, fruit, medical plant and spice, and grape and wine sectors are presented. The majority of the exhibition area is devoted to ornamental plants – cut flowers, pot plants, dried flowers, landscape and park architecture, ornamental nursery . Technical and service background necessary to up-to-date horticulture – glass houses, plastic covers, irrigation equipment, packaging machinery and material, production substrates - are emphasized on the exhibition.

Hortus Hungaricus is an entertaining event to the public also, besides its professional importance. The visitors will enjoy the spectacular view of tens of thousand flowers from several thousand varieties on the flower and ornamental plant booths. They can buy flowers, perennial ornamental plants, horticultural tools, equipment and material to improve and enrich their home, garden, or environment on the indoor and open-air selling area.
